Meredith Manning is not my real name…it’s a fake name because my real last name is Weed and people make fun of it…A LOT! I’m a Maine native, born in Portland and raised in Scarborough…My Father was on the radio and it intrigued me hearing his voice on the air.
After getting in trouble for drawing a weather map on my parent’s plastic shade at age six and being sent to the front of the class because of talking too much, it was apparent that I needed a job in radio. I went to Lyndon St College in Vermont for Meterology and communications and The New England School Of Communications. I got this job because no one else applied.
