Rhiannon Reid

Rhiannon Reid was born in Connecticut, but found she is a southern girl at heart after moving to SC six years ago. Her husband’s navy career brought them to Columbia, and they all fell in love with the area.
Growing up, Rhiannon loved listening to the radio. She vividly remembers hearing Casey Kasem and Paul Harvey. She knew at a young age that she wanted to be just like them. But her passion and dream for a radio career got put on the back burner for a while. She feels very blessed and fortunate to be working in radio now. It has been one of the best things to happen to her, and she hopes she will be doing this well in to the future.
Rhiannon is happily married and has three wonderful children. A current USC student, Rhiannon hopes to finish up her degree in broadcast journalism and continue her radio career. In her spare time, she plays roller derby with the Columbia Quad Squad as Betty Ford Cynic. The Quad Squad is actively involved with the community, which gives Rhiannon a chance to give back to the city that she loves so much. She is a huge Gamecocks fan, loves the beach, roller derby, music, old movies, and spending time with her family and friends.
